I don’t know what the RNC is worried about. Americans act and vote as if they were asleep through their history classes.
Not if you smile while you’re doing it.
I’m getting a sense the reason that Atlas shrugged is because he is a lazy slacker. What else explains why the GOP spends all their time bitching and moaning rather than governing and solving problems? The former is easy and the latter is hard. So basically the entire GOP congress is a bunch of moochers - taking pay for not doing any work.
So, in other words, the RNC favors bullshit over factual content.
Right wing complains.
Right. Shocking.
Atlas’ only talent is holding up everything. How GOP!
So, in other words, the RNC favors bullshit over factual content.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
I’m sorry. You got the answer to question 4 wrong. It called, in the South, The War of Northern Aggression.
Why Anita Bryant’s crucifixion by early, unashamed pagan homos isn’t even discussed!!!
Ah yes, your modern Republican Party – fighting yesterday’s battles… tomorrow. Now available in vanilla, English Breakfast and libertarian flavors! …
“a strong belief in British racial and cultural superiority” - so the RNC is disavowing that now? Wow! Good news!
As someone with ancestors on both sides of the family who fought on the right side of the Revolution, I have to admit being raised with “a strong belief in British racial and cultural superiority” and as a Republican. No longer a Republican (well, never one since I could vote), I’d still say that to whatever degree American culture is superior, it derives in significant part from the superiority of the cultures it’s derived from, British the largest influence among them. African (taken as a whole) probably the next largest.
On the racial superiority front, hybrid vigor is the stronger argument than any sort of racial purity. Then again, the Brits are among the muttliest people.
It’s frightening to think that a group that acts like a fringe minority party – i.e. the GOP – might actually control both houses of the U.S. legislature next year. Sigh.
lol FUCK OFF
Dammit. I failed.
Does this mean the bagger fascists don’t want us to teach the phrase ‘merciless indian savages’ from the slave owner written declaration of independence?
So what’s your point?

Depends on what day it is, but I think this falls pretty squarely into the repub mythology/messaging. Think “Obama Apology Tour” ™, “Why Do Liberals Hate America” ™, etc.
They are into thought control via propaganda
so this makes sense.

The scary thing is that this brand of conservatism squeaky-wheelism works. By portraying their side as the victim, although know such victimhood exists, they inevitably intimidate the officials caught in the middle, and push them to compromise between historical accuracy and historical fantasy, which of course has the effect of biasing the test.
