If a question is posed and the answer is non-responsive, evasive or insistent the original story is truthful despite evidence to the contrary the media will repeat the question until a sensible, believable answer is provided. Stating all questions have been asked, and implying it's time to move on, is not the point.
“Timmy, the cookie jar is half empty and Tina says she saw you take them. Is that true?”
“No, I don’t recall that’s how the cookies went missing. Tina is mistaken.”
“Now Timmy, Tina isn’t lying and you know it. Just tell me the truth, did you take them?”

Bottom line is, the R party should be happy about severe scrutiny of the candidates versus this mollycoddling they’re giving them. How in the world will they know who is the strongest candidate if they don’t?

I think Bernie Sanders was wrong on this issue. Carson has no record of serving in elected capacity, so all there is to go on is his history and accomplishments. If he has apparently made up several components of his backstory they deserve to be looked into.

This is one of the tacts the right is half heartedly trying to take. Its not details from a story 30 years ago…its stories that he repeats nearly every day. Its the books he is hocking right now.
And I say half heartedly because the GOP knows how quickly they will receive blow back holding to this line as a defense. Their strategy for going after Hillary is to drag up everything from 30 years ago and throw it at her.
The real news with this piece, as well as with Huckabee and Christie coming out against Carson today, is its pretty obvious that the green light to take down Carson has been given.

Well, those things are totally different. In Carson’s case, it is a RWNJ lying about his past. In HRC’s case, it is RWNJs lying about her past.

Also, too? It’s not an obsession with stuff he said 40 years ago. The “I was offered a full scholarship to West Point” is crap he said LAST MONTH.
