I spent 45 minutes in a line to put my ballot in the scanner today. I live in a town with about 2500 voters and here in MA all the races are pretty much predetermined so It was very unusual. Normally you walk right in, mark your ballot and walk straight over to the scanner and put it in. Almost seems like people are voting in droves here just to send a message. There were also a lot of young folk there also. Usually it is just us old folk. If this is the norm across the country, it bodes well for the republic.
