Discussion: RNC Chair McDaniels: Wynn Deserves 'Due Process' Before We Return Cash

The part where they hammer them for something they do wrong and not just drop it and move on to something else

That wasn’t the GOP fault that was all on the dems they couldn’t kick Franken to the curb fast enough

To be fair, Romney-McDaniels has to be cautious here. After all, Weinstein was somewhat anomalous in the Democratic party.

The GOP base and elite, though, are absolutely brimming with sexual harassers, and assaulters, and rapists - and McDaniels must be careful not to offend them.

Oh, I see. The allegations were so “deeply troubling” that you took them “seriously enough to remove him as finance chair,” but they’re not so “deeply troubling” that you’ll take them seriously enough to return his donations. Seems legit.

Exactly.

I guess, to a certain extent, Dems are just (at heart) decent people. The Rethugs have created some fantasy by which if you just don’t admit to wrongdoing, then it didn’t happen. That’s it.

Oh, I see. Issuing lame ass, uncredible denials is the way this ought to be done. Thanks for clearing that up, RNC.

[[Sheesh! One of the insults that Repukes have often use against Dems is to call them ‘moral relativists.’ I will take moral relativism 1000X over this amoral, anything-goes-so-long-as-we-stay-in-power-at-least-until-the-next-election relativism that seems to taken over the Republican party.]]

Apparently Wynn gave the RNC a lot of cash and they have spent it.

As long as their base doesn’t care the GOP won’t care either

“But Steve has denied these allegations, unlike Harvey Weinstein and Al Franken and others, Steve has denied them,” she continued

Then why did you accept his resignation?

As an expert interpreter of advanced weasel words, I can tell you this is shorthand for “never gonna happen”

Is there an app for that? I really need one…

According to Wynn’s masseuses and manicurists, the grooming process involves multiple manual sessions with the fuss, then he requests the fuss getting blown over.

Well we know this is going to be the GOP plan when trump is gone…first they going to act like they never really supported him then they are going to say he was a dem the whole time in office

So we can call him “former finance chair and GOP sugar daddy” until they give the money back?

Because he was an innocent distraction.

"Wynn Resorts’ board of directors has formed a special committee to investigate the allegations. And the Massachusetts Gaming Commission said it’s reviewing the allegations in light of a Wynn Resorts casino project currently under construction in Everett. "

That is all we need to know.

I suspect that she was misquoted. She probably said “doo process” and had this in mind:

What “due process” are supposed to hold our breath until it takes place exactly?

Wynn doesn’t hold public office and as far as I know, isn’t being charged criminally with anything.

So I ask again, what “due process” are we supposed to be waiting for?
