Reince Priebus (aka Rancid Priapus) ‘Should Be Ashamed’ Of Its Candidate Pool!

CNBC should be embarrassed that the RNC sent clowns to a Presidential debate.

A “more robust exchange”? The freaking thing was a free for all.

I only watched bits and pieces…I have more important things to watch than a bunch of lying assholes…what is ol’ Reince bitching about? CNBC asked pertinent, poignant, meaningful questions that confounded the GOP pricks on the dais? Am I right? I feel like I’m right.

The RNC should be ashamed of your candidates.

Don’t blame CNBC for their inability to polish your turds for you.

The debate sucked because of your candidates suck!

And they’ve got all the spinmeisters out in force right now too.

Right, doing what the candidates on stage couldn’t do for themselves.

The media pretends that the GOP boilerplate is serious talk. Why not show them the last George W. Bush budget, and what President Obama has been able to do with it? Why not ask them about rapidly falling deficits, and vastly improved economic conditions in almost every category? To avoid these facts so as to give the feckless candidates more time to create their own “facts” and fake narratives is just insanity!

You certainly don’t see these powderpuff questions to ANY Democratic candidate EVER?

Blame everyone else. That’s working for Trump very well, why not RNC Chair? “They’re losers!”

You are right. I looked at the Dem debate questions… they were tough too. These clowns cant articulate their positions… so it’s easier to dump on the moderators. Shameful bunch.

But…you know there is always a but…many of the GOP’er candidates hurt themselves in this debate. It doesn’t matter how bad the debate is moderated…if you hurt yourself that is on you. CNBC did a horrible job…but that doesn’t matter. The point was to look at the candidates. OK…they got shiity questions…but how did they handle those shitty questions? Most of them cried about mistreatment or dodged the shitty question.

“are you sure you want to ask me such a lame question”…" it really doesn’t deserve an answer but if you insist Ill play your silly game but for God’s sake…can you get real". Dignified and to the point. Don’t cry…don’t lie. Just roll your eyes and answer the damn thing.

They failed on that playing field. If they want to be POTUS they have to win and command on all playing fields.

Since the following questions were not asked, the debate was worthless.

  1. Which of the following countries lack freedom and democracy? Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Finland, Luxembourg? If any are hellholes like Cambodia under Pol Pot, when do you intend to send in ground forces?

  2. Please state the supposed names of the authors of the canonical Christian gospels, and for extra credit state what happened when Jesus and Paul met face to face (oops trick question). Also, what is your favorite book in the Bible other than a Gospel or Genesis, and what state one thing that is in that book. (Bonus Sarah Palin question, how did Jesus celebrate Easter?).

  3. Do you believe that Iran supports ISIS and if so why (that would be a brilliant question actually, since it would disqualify nearly all of them when they got the wrong answer, and nearly all of the would). Similarly, are you concerned about al Qaeda infiltrating Hezbollah (harder version of the same trick question).

  4. Do you believe that America should be ruled by biblical principles? Follow up: Should divorce be legal? Should a divorced man ever be allowed to be president of the US? (Ha ha, Reagan)…

It’s funny that Bill Daley just traced all the Republicans’ woes to Sarah Palin because the GOP is still suffering from the same conceit they suffered while throwing Palin under the bus for losing them 2008. Namely, that Republicans are sitting on a treasure trove of brilliant ideas, which only failed to catch on because Sarah Palin’s an idiot, or Mitt Romney’s clueless, or Donald trump’s a RINO, or CNBC held a crappy debate. Tomorrow, it will be some other excuse.

I thought the overall performance from the question askers was awful. But did that result in disservice to the contestants?

No, of course not: the contestants would have been terrible no matter what was being asked of them.

It’s certainly possible that the overall impression didn’t have to appear quite so terrible as it did. An array of questions contrived and posed by, say, FoxNews & some its newsertainment personalities, or by seminal figures from rightwing talk radio & the wingosphere, delivered entirely within their coda, that is, an exhibition ‘moderated’ by questioners who shared values of & thought like the contestants, could well have elicited impressions of at least spin-able competence, maybe even some sense of … something.

But each of those options, and any variation on them, would have presented a false picture. So, I grant the larger point: that the resounding failure of this production was at least ACCURATE. these Clown Car contestants are in fact that terrible. Providing them questioners skilled at covering up that reality would have done a disservice to its viewers.

So, I for one congratulate CNBC, for bringing to its audience as starkly revealing a picture of the unsuitability of all these candidates as we’re likely to get between now & the general election debates.

Bravo, CNBC: well fcked up.
