Discussion: Right-Wingers Rage At Trump After He Caves On Border Wall

I’d settle for Jared, who already brought bad (or sick) coverage earlier today and was apparently shocked!!! that his brilliant circle-squaring politicking on the Hill didn’t actually win anything better than a pity-yea from Joe Manchin

Whatever the morons and bimbos of the on-screen “talent” on Fox News say. The Murdochs care about one thing alone: revenue, they do not care what happens to trump or his wall. Wingnuts go to Breibart and other places to get outraged, but they still need a place where they are soothed and told that that they are the righteous and everything is going just fine.

Ahhh. Now all that felt good to read. Or at least, skim.

Hmmm, O’reiley still has opinions? What a gimp. “Advantage trump!” That’s why he still has a show. Oh, wait.

Yeah, yeah Bill-o, we see you over there in the corner, peeing on yourself.

She might be referring to the “Read my lips: no new taxes” thing, and then backing down.

Not one of these RWNJ gives a flying fuck about the nation.

I still think Pence is Manafort’s boy and will go down with the cabal, but I sure would love to see him in a presidential debate against Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris or Amy Klobuchar… If Mother would allow such shenanigans, of course.

Too bad for Coulter. Trump had the racism part down pat, just not the competence part.

I’m sorry if I’m taking you too literally, but GWHB was famously tarred with a “wimp factor.”

I assume Coulter wanted to call Trump weak, and wanted for comparison any politician who was famously attacked for their weakness. I’d say it’s a good rhetorical fit, especially if your audience is the chronically uninformed.

It’s days like this I long for ol’ Countdown w/Keith Olbermann and his worst-persons-in-the-world bit. They could expand it to the whole episode.

Pretty much, since they really have no skin in the game they can spout off whatever crap they want.

The difference between Democratic politics vs Republican politics is:
Dems “You’ve got ideas, great let’s hear them”
Reps " Will tell you what your ideas should be."

Which was a similar scenario. Bush said no new taxes to appease the wingnuts. Bushed pivoted. Trump caved.

+1000. A good description of what is going on. Truth telling is simply not profitable when you are trying for a mass audience. If the propagandists go too hard at Trump, they discourage his followers, who might turn off the TV and tune out.

He’s Manafort’s bitch, true. But I really haven’t seen anything really linking him in deep enough anywhere to be impeachable. Am I missing something?

Yeah, that’s the ticket. Again in his speech today he’s signaled like many times before he doesn’t really want a damn wall, it can be fence here and barrier there and a river here and a beaded curtain there, he’ll settle for bits and pieces like already exist here and there, he just wants to be able to say to his idiot minions that he kept out the brownz. So the Dems can say “you’re asking for border security, then?” and he says “yes” and that’s it, no more foolishness. The Dems can say we’re all for enhanced border security so everyone’s safe and legal.

I have not been able to bring myself to listen to anything coming out of Coulter in about 3 years. If I see she is going to be on a show, I will not watch that show. There are certain people where the cooties come right out of the TV screen, and she is one of them. People say it is all an act to push book sales, and I am sure there is a lot of that - but beneath the act, there is a truly loathsome human being.
