Discussion: Rick Perry PAC Selling T-Shirts With Governor's Mugshot

Discussion for article #226877

I think Rick Perry will introduce a new item into the lexicon of American English. I think the term “smugshot” will accompany this image wherever it goes.

I’ll have to check out Sixth Street in Austin this weekend to see how many of the T-Shirts are used as dart boards.

“Many legal experts say charges against Perry appear to be pretty weak, and the indictment may end up boosting the governor’s chances in 2016.”

Nothing could boost the GOP chances but sanity in a candidate. Losing CA, NY, FL, IL and PA is a sure way to defeat. Perry is right on par with Santorum and Newt, a sure loser, after fleecing his followers.

The judge that assigned the case is a Republican…he also picked a Republican Prosecutor.

How is this the Democrats fault again ?

The Party of Law and Order, glorifying crime as long as they’re the ones committing it.

Pass me Aunt Lindsey’s smelling salts! I do believe I shall acquire me the vapors from the sheer shock and unexpectedness of it all!

His indictment by a Republican is clearly a liberal plot. Give him money.

The Snarkus is strong in you…

That’s the main reason I like you. lol

Need darts?

Mugshots must be in the public domain? I have some ideas of my own for this idiot’s likeness…

How goes it?

is Schmuckshot too much of a stretch?

This issue is not partisan, as Perry claims. A non-partisan non-profit filed the charges against him. Republicans are advancing the case, including the special prosecutor.

The charges are also much more serious than is being reported.

HA! I knew a few more HP exiles would turn up!

Join the fun…we’ve about got the place de-trolled except for a couple of false-flaggers, and the snarkfest continues.

Not for this schmuck.

If this is some Texas Democrat’s idea of a way to shoot down Perry, they are doing us no favors. The longer this goes on, the better it is for Perry. Who in their right mind would want to defend a DA who drives drunk and then given the cops who arrested her— and possibly saved some lives— a hard time. I never did and still do not understand Texas.

Great article. Thanks for pointing it out.

You never saw Tom Delay’s mugshot?

It was even worse.
