jesus christ, he can’t even get the saying right.
that’s still once more per day than Rick Perry is right.
There oughta be an IQ test for contestants in the sideshow…
LOL! Gonna piss myself here…he couldn’t even get that right…hahahahahahahaha…
“A broken clock is right once a day,” Perry said.
ROFLMAO
He can’t even get that shit right. A broken analog clock is “right” twice a day. And a broken digital clock is simply broken.
Jesus Christ on a fucking cracker.
LOL
Are we sure he is not really Andy Kaufman?
He forgot the second time it’s right.
And a blind squirrel will sometimes find a watermelon. Or something like that…I forget.
Ooops…
Perry probably gave himself a cushion on this, in case a reporter asked him to list the two times.
Oops.
I worry that we misunderestimate Perry.
I dunno, I get the feeling Perry’s BetaMax player is still flashing 12:00 and the tape slot has a DVD in it’s case jammed in there
Well, that pretty much explains everything that is wrong with his candidacy…
and there’s a coffee cup in his computer’s DVD tray.
I would’ve guessed a slice of Wonder Bread, but DVD in its case works too haha
Perry can only dream of matching George Bush’s “Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice… well don’t fool me!”
A broken digital clock blinking 12:00 (am or pm) is right once a day – IF it doesn’t advance when the time is not set. Haven’t seen one since my last VCR (remember those?) That was critical to the VCR’s time-based recording function, whether you pushed a dozen tiny buttons to program that directly or typed in the code from that got printed the TV Guide.
Seems like most digital clocks nowadays reset to 12:00 and just counting from there, so broken clocks are never right. But that’s really broken either. Broken LED/LCDs show nothing; they’re never right.
The digital ones with the analog numbers – the ones that physically flip over – will be right only once per day if they have AM/PM indicators.
Of course, none of this crossed Perry’s mind; he mangled a common expression because he’s not that bright.
Maybe if the glasses were in his mouth he would sound smarter…
How dare you screw up Bush’s famous quote about being fooled once, then slipping into his Roger Daltrey imitation.
Given what we have seen of Perry, Dubya, Cruz, Gohmert and a host of others, has anyone ever done a study of the collective IQs of Texas Republicans?
An amateur guess here… about the same as the people they represent?
