More than pissing: there was no sanitation in the SuperDome after a couple of days.
PLUS, it was Bush telling his FEMA chief “Heckuva job, Brownie” as people were on the roof desperate to get out.
PLUS, it was Bush finally going to New Orleans, a city without electricity, and bringing his own lights and generator for his photo op, then packing them up and leaving.
That’s the Bush and Katrina.

Perry’s best quote was on the Today show: he said that Obama couldn’t do anything unless and until he visited the border, and then he added that if Obama really wanted to do something about the border crisis “all he has to do is pick up the phone”. Really.
Anyone seen any recent photos of Gov. Oops visiting the border? It’s 1200 miles long in TX – shouldn’t be a problem finding it.

Obama, January 2013, “We strengthened security at the borders so that we could finally stem the tide of illegal immigrants. We put more boots on the ground on the southern border than at any time in our history. And today, illegal crossings are down nearly 80 percent from their peak in 2000.”
I’m not sure what happened, but it seems to me that illegal border crossings are up about 800% since January 2013. And, I’m surprised Obama said “illegal immigrants” and not “undocumented Democrats.”
You could’ve stopped at “I’m not sure”. Border crossings are up because of violence in Central America has increased dramatically and the American economy has gotten much better. They are trying to escape increasingly worse conditions.
