Perry may be dumber than a pile of rocks, but he is comedy gold.
This will all seem ironic after Perry is extorted out of nuclear warhead information later.
The difference in intelligence between Franken and Perry can only be measured in light-years, and Perry is in a galaxy far, far away…
Well Perry will be the Secretary of Oops Energy.
The glasses don’t make Perry look smarter.
Perry makes the glasses look dumber.

Rick Perry’s cowboy boots…
“Derailed”
A term that will become commonplace re the wheels of government in the next four years.
Speaking of humor, the guy applied for the job overseeing nuclear stockpiles when he thought he would be U.S. oil and gas producers’ rep to the world. It does not get any funnier than that (except maybe for the post immediately above this one)

I <3 my dufus ex-governor. Since we survived his reign of error, Perry seems harmless. Especially when compared to the current governor’s evil and divisive agenda, . He doesn’t scare me as Energy Secretary the way Sessions does as AG or deVos or some of the other weasels Drumpf has nominated.

It’s also true that when he wanted to be President, he didn’t remember the name of the Dept of Energy, but he also had not even found out what the Department actually did! Talk about not doing your homework! I can truly see why his GPA was 1.88!
Yes! I read that. Thought he’d be a minister of something or other, not actually would to have think about nuclear energy, or much else for that matter. But it comes with a swell title.
You can take the boy out of SNL but you can’t take SNL out of the boy.
