In the meantime, I’ve drawn the conclusion that Perry still looks like a mental deficient in those glasses.
Wait, did Rick Perry just call John Boehner gay???
Sorry, disagree: I’ve lived in TX almost the entire time he’s been Governor, and he is in fact stupid. Cunning, the ability to say and do expediently treacherous things, and knowing where the power lies in TX (oil & gas) are his strengths. He’s cunning and treacherous, but he is also “Oops!” stupid.
perrys handlers have told him that those glasses make him look Presidential…
OOOPS!
Remember, with Rick’s rumored personal behavior, oral gay sex must not be gay sex.
It takes two to know one.
And yet gay Republican groups like the Log Cabin dudes will still abjectly prostrate themselves in front of clowns like Perry, begging for acceptance and recognition.
I guess it’s like being a gaping asshole. I mean, sure a lot of it’s genetic, but you have to WANT to behave like a jerk in front of others to truly pull it off!
As a 34yr TX resident?
Gotta’ side with Dr C.
Corrupt? Yes.
Evil? Yes.
Reptilian? Yes.
Smart? Awhellno!
This man has managed to walk a very narrow path politically.
Any time he strays off course-- he does/says incredibly stupid things.

What a maroon.
Why is anyone surprised? The Tea Party is largely made up of homophobes, transphobes, racists, misogynists, anti-Semites, and is pretty much limited to people who want to promote an agenda of cis-het White Protestant Male power. Yeah, yeah, I know “Not all Tea Partiers are like that” but has anyone noticed that the Tea Party is pretty much pushing that agenda even if they happen to be a member of those minorities that the Tea Party pretty much hates?
But what he said was idiotically stupid in my opinion. And he deserves whatever flack he generates.
So, what he’s saying is gay people can be President. Like George W. Bush.
Right on, Rick! Who knew he was so liberal?
maybe his prescription pill problem is getting the better of him again.
“We want you to know allmighty g-d is on our side, we know what he wants and it is our job to do you in.”
When you see the devil, say “oops” for me. Figuratively speaking of course.
One difference is that most people who condemn alcoholism aren’t secretly alcoholics.
If you combine this with yesterday’s wisdom from the Tea Party idiot does that mean we should start stoning alcoholics to death? Stoning today, stoning tomorrah, stoning forevah!!
Alas, Gov Perry’s glasses of emsmartenment appear not to have worked.
Perry is at best, Texas right, but he is definitely USA wrong. Think about it, he says this crap knowing how controversial it is and does very well in Texas as the nation laughs at him.
“Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not,”
What a wordsmith!
