Discussion for article #247634

What a tragedy, I was hoping the circus would have a whole new act by summer.

Perry? Really they wanted a guy that couldnā€™t win even when Trump wasnā€™t running.

Because Cruz and Perry have TX-sized dirt on each other. Canā€™t wait to see Dem nominee unload on Trump/Cruz.

Oops.

With all due respect to @BillKristol and donors who have called. Where were you when @GovernorPerry was actually running for POTUS

With all due respect to Jeff Miller, I think heā€™s unclear on the concept here. Wanting Rick Perry to be a symbolic protest candidate is not at all the same thing as actually wanting him to be POTUS.

I hope a third party (GOP) candidate like Perry does run - the crazier, the better. It would ensure a Democratic win.

Rick Perry wonā€™t run? Say it isnā€™t so!

I havenā€™t been this disappointed and upset since I learned that Brad and Angelina might be breaking up.

Is it possible that Perry has gained enough self-awareness to recognize that heā€™s a weak-willed not-that-bright hair-enabled puppet? Heā€™s never actually seemed that enthusiastic about running a campaign, just been surrounded by people with access to lots of money who thought he would be a good figurehead.

Kristol is scraping the bottom of a bad barrel - Rick Perry, really ?

These people are trying sooo hard to avoid admitting that they will be voting for Hilary in November.

Enough with the pussyfooting! Time to call out the big guns.
Sheā€™s back and badder ( worse?) than ever. Thatā€™s right. You know who Iā€™m talkinā€™ about. The Killa from Waziilla:
Sarah ā€œAll of ā€˜em, any of ā€˜em that have been in front of me over all these years.ā€ Palin.
Good enough for McCain, good enough for America, and God knows Republicans need her now. Beauty, brains, and celebrity, sheā€™s got it all. IF NOT NOW, WHEN???

Can he name more than two parties?

That the #NeverTrump folks thought Governor Oops! had a chance shows just how meager the GOPā€™s leadership barrel scrapings have become in the last generation or so.

Dubya: The Dim Son of Texas
McCain: The guy who threw away his political future on a ridiculous Veep pick
Romney: Mr. 47%, the only guy still standing when all the not-Romneys finished flaming out

And now, in 2016, the GOP is about to be swallowed whole by a bomb-lobbing fascist radical, where the only other semi-viable alternative is the Senator loathed by the majority of his own party. And now they think Governor Goodhair is a viable alternative? Wow.
