Two thoughts on Perry’s comment: 1. It’s reminiscent of high school behavior where kids at similar popularity levels band together 2. It’s a recycling of the Republican misplaced hope (from 2008) that women will vote for any ticket with a female candidate.

Carly Fiorina does make a lot of sense as the GOP VP nominee, since she drove one of America’s most repected companies into the ground, cost 15,000 people their jobs, was paid $40 million to go away, and then failed miserably in her only campaign for political office. She’s the perfect Republican!
