What a shame. For all his flaws, he has done great service to American Democracy. Not least the delegate changes that allowed Barack Obama to capture the 2008 nomination. For that alone Jackson deserves a statue in the capitol.

Godspeed, Jesse. As i frequently told my mother, you have Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s does not have you. Best of luck, and do not shy away from experimental treatments. The only means we have of beating Parkinson’s is through research. You’re now a part of that. I’ll be wishing all the best for you.
