I am so sorry there was no way Costello could have foreseen this kind of behavior from Trump. This is obviously a huge surprise.

Dipshit.

Soooooooo,
You bit your tongue, sucked it up, didn’t stand up to him and STILL YOU LOST. Yet, your anger is about being mocked by him for losing… Go join all the other groups he’s mocked while you and your party stood by and twiddled your thumbs.

Edited based on @26degreesrising’s correction.

“And I will have a super frowny face when I vote to reelect President Trump in two years!”

Costello is one of the brave and responsible Republicans who demonstrated his great moral fortitude and exercised his responsibility as a member of a co-equal branch of government by saying “I quit”. and then going along with everything Trump did. Piss off, whiner.

See also, Paul Ryan, Sen. Flake and Sen. Corker. Bastions of courage they are not.

Doing something, or saying something when it still matters is a attribute the GOP doesn’t seem to grasp. As Harry Shearer observed, vis a vis retiring army generals, “They always tell the truth after they retire”. Citizens United has turned Republicans into eunuchs.

Well, now you can spend more time getting familiar with your core. Clearly, it didn’t pose an issue to you before.

In the defense of the members of the armed forces, they are supposed to follow orders. It’s a BIG deal to break ranks. Congressman are not in the same situation… AT ALL.

You knew who he was from the beginning yet you and your fellow gop members sat back and said nothing…you reap what you sow…cause all of you decided it was more important to stay in power

Rep. Ryan Costello (R-PA) shot back, tweeting that Trump’s rhetoric “angers me to my core.”

Susan Collins: “Pffft. You call that ‘Deeply Concerned’ trolling? Amateur…”

And will be wringing my hands with Jeff Flake and Bob Corker and Ben Sasse and Susan Collins.

We will need Scott Pruitt’s expensive moisturizing cream.

Angers me to my core.

Wait. He has a core?

What he’s really saying is that he should have stood up earlier and more strongly. Or should have stood up at all.

Sorry, I have trouble being sympathetic.
