Yes. Those, from either party, who feast on the spoils made available to friends and backers of winning candidates are a foul crust that harms all of us.
From a couple different sources, Turner:
– was appointed by Gov. Christie
– “her appointment was championed by Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, a Democrat”
– “She served on Hillary Clinton’s national finance team and is a co-chairman of the Financial Committee for Ready for Hillary, a super PAC created to draft Clinton for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.”
– in 2008, when Obama was clinching the nomination, Turner [was part of a Together4us1, a pro-Clinton group that considered transferring its support to McCain in the general election.
She’s one of the genuine swamp creatures that plague our government and politics.

I think I’ve crossed paths with two port authority commissioners in my life. They seem to be cut from the same mold somehow, no matter which port you’re talking about.
Good question. The one cop- Matt, was as patient as you can expect. He also wasn’t buying her bs from the moment she walked up, and asked her to back up.
Now, had she been Black or a Black man, he would have been told to back up from the time he walked up. That would not have been unreasonable since she was only there to pick up the other people.

First, my compliments to the two officers. This woman was very provocative and disrespectful, but these guys remained calm and talked with her far, far, far longer than she deserved. It quickly rose to a case of interfering with law enforcement. Add to it all, she is so sneeringly, smugly sanctimonious and full of herself… what a disgrace. Great role model for your daughter, mom.

Everyman’s ex-wife.
If anyone was crying in the car, it was out of embarrassment for her conduct. The start of the video shows the driver and passengers acting like polite adults.

I’m thrilled she got shitcanned, and that this drama was in front of her soon to be estranged daughter.
Wow, what an elitist! She mentioned a number of times how the passengers in the car were grad students at Yale and MIT, and one was an investment banker from London. And if you stuck around until the end you could hear her say how on a number of occassions she has had police officers to her house, and her second house, and her third house. Yet, the police officers remained unimpressed.

They’re frequently awarded the commissioner positions as payback for either donations or some in-kind act of support. They clearly aren’t qualified to even clean the Port Authority toilets.
Can you imagine had that been a black Port Authority commissioner speaking like that to those police officers? Bandaged head, busted lip, handcuffed wrists, and a future date before a judge/magistrate.
