And these folks, as badly as they need all the help they can get, will still get more help faster than the people of Puerto Rico, which is still a mess.
The picture is informative. Look behind the lady at what is left of the building. Very little construction outside of the cities has any real re-enforcement. Shake it, and it falls in on you like a pile of hard mud-brick. That’s why the death toll is so high, and regrettably will go higher.
But America will forget about this in 3 or 4 days too. As soon as the next creepy Political hack comes along.
Which is yet another reason that Puerto Rico is still a mess, too.
