Coming soon to a Congress near you – voodoo math!
It’s magic!
If you don’t like the way the game is scored, change the rules.
Typical GOP thuggery.
This is what happens when only 37% of registered voters bother to vote. Enjoy the next 2 years everybody!
If you can’t get something to come out the way you want, change the guy in charge of the numbers!
The War on Science wasn’t enough. Now its time for a War on Math.
2 + 2 = 5.
ha…more like this…
10 - 2 = 12
Is there even any way for the Dems to filibuster or otherwise block this? Not sure where this fits in to the procedural schema…
The incoming Congress can fudge numbers all they want but failure is still failure.
We need dynamic scoring! If they used dynamic scoring, it would show that the Kansas state budget under Gov. Brownback’s massive tax cuts isn’t really in crippling deficits, causing the state to cut vital services, but in fact is growing to record surpluses!
The poor working class stiffs won’t know what hit them until its much too late.
In other words, we want somebody who will lie just like we do!
So the budgetary woes that Kansas is experiencing is just a state of mind?
Once they deconstructed science–evolution, climate change, conception–they discounted facts entirely and paved the way for their real interest: Showing you that giving rich people all the money will make you better off.
I assume that dynamic scoring will show that ACA is leading America down the road to financial ruin, as well?
FFS, if I want “opinions vary on shape of Earth” reporting, I’ll go to CNN. CBO doesn’t use dynamic scoring because the empirical experience with tax cuts, of which we have far too much already, shows that it’s total bullshit. The purpose of dynamic scoring is to enable still more tax cuts that will put a stop to all this reprehensible deficit reduction which is sapping our will to inflict misery and suffering on the moochers for their own good. Period.
I don’t know about whether its magic or not, but one thing is for sure. The modern GOP’s second act, after giving Wall Street the end to banking regulations that CitiBank wrote for them, will be tossing out any shred of credibility. The democrats are going to have a PR field day with this.
Except everytime people say that, nothing seems to happen. “The ads write themselves” I guess. But does anyone make them or see them?
There are lies, damned lies, statistics and then there is Grand Old Tea Party, Randian, Koch financed bullshit!!!
