If another elected Democrat beside Liz Warren and Kaine comes to Clinton’s defense and stays there, nobody will be more shocked than me. What they’ll do at most is issue a mild press release through their campaign PR flack and then retreat into their defensive crouch.

Saying he could stand in 5th ave and shoot someone and not lose votes

This points out in stark terms how differently the two parties are treated in our system and media. It is apparently acceptable for trump to behave like a carnival barker or better…an unhinged and mean pit bull running on impulse yet our democrat nominee must be held to a far higher standard. One comment by her and the shit hits the fan. HOURLY comments from trump? No biggie if he says we should have a war with Iran or “let’s make sure Japan has nukes” or some other bit of insanity. I’m reasonable certain trump will say something abysmally stupid before today’s sun sets.

I find a double standard, Trump can state anything bigoted, sexist, and our Generals are stupid, and the republican leadership says nothing about it but when Hillary says one thing about his followers which the majority think that President Obama is not a US citizen and Muslim. She claims that half of Trump’s supporters are ‘deplorable’ and the Republicans claim the presidential nominee is an elitist who does not respect the American people. I think the question is why should we respect or think that their views deserve respect when over half of the Republicans do not respect the legally elected American President.
