I can’t tell if Portman and all are being disingenuously clueless or if their cluelessness is sincere.
Nothings says “leadership” quite like publicly humiliating and berating your employees on Twitter.
Could be in the fear that if the Donald fires him he’ll look for immunity. Maybe it won’t be the Keebler Elf, but someone will have something so hot that he will be chosen to be “the one that got away,” but otherwise blew things wide open.
I don’t see how publicly berating Sessions until he quits is not the same thing as firing him - this is just a long drawn-out Sessions’ humiliation.
If he was going to turn I would think this would do it more surely than just firing him.
After a “weak” of criticism from Dear Leaker, who would think that “integrity” is a firing offense?
