I can’t figure out why Republicans continue to tolerate taxes at all. They complain that they’re too high, regardless of the rate.
Why don’t they just do away with them completely? We can use that as a baseline when we attempt to rebuild civilization a few years down the road.

Laboring under what taxes? I’m not laboring under any taxes - are you? I don’t personally know anyone who is “suffering” from these horrible Obamacare taxes. Maybe I don’t know any of the “regular American folks” Mr. Brady is talking about. - is that a possibility?

My (Republican) rep responded to my contact form email sayin Obamacare is bad bad bad and his answer to replacement is tax credits and standard deductions. I wrote back asking what poor person pays enough tax to benefit and how are insurers supposed to pay out for pre-existing conditions. No reply yet, but I expect it will be a form letter that dodges the questions.
