Make sure to do that begging for forgiveness on your knees facing the first black person you encounter. Thanks.
Nothing says Holiday Spirit like celebrating treason and defeat.
What has happened to our beloved country? The Civil War continues and “The United States of America” has become a misnomer.
Rep. Chris Corley said the card was a political statement to his fellow Republicans meant as a joke in his smart-aleck style. Democrats and others on his Christmas card list will get one with a picture of his children.
Remind me again, Mr. O’Reilly, just who it is that’s “politicizing Christmas?” Also: Ugh! – This man has bred?
Treason, defeat, and bigotry.
Once again we have a classic example of the Republican grade-school mentality. If guys like Chris Corley want to live in the past, the least they should do is learn the accurate history. Chris, your ancestors were traitors and that flag is an emblem of treason. Your guys lost. Get over it.
That white flag he’s waving is the only confederate flag that matters.
There is a subset of humans who absolutely.refuse.to.learn.a.goddamned.thing.
…sadly it has become the UNTIED States …which may (or may not ) be an unintended consequence.
This know-nothing, mouth breathing racist isn’t worth your time. This poke in the eye of his GOP colleagues will do more to limit his career than anything any of us could have done. I wonder which card he sent to the Governor?
FauXian celebratin’ Xmas the good ol’ bigoted way , by doG!
betrayal as in declaring war against the USA? Cause that’s what the treason flag is all about.
Lern’n’s a gawd-dang Islamofascist plot! /s
The only flag raised of any meaning by the southern traitors was the white flag of total surrender.
Look at that face. Tell me that’s not a result of inbreeding. Yeah, he’s bred. She’s probably a cousin.
Ain’t a symbol of sedition and treason in order to protect slavery and later Jim Crow a laugh riot?
And what exactly was “betrayed” with removing such a disgusting symbol ya fuck-nut?
“May your Christmas be filled with memories of a happier time when South Carolina’s leaders possessed morals, convictions and the principles to stand for what is right.”
“May you have a blessed and happy Christmas, and may you take this joyous time as an opportunity to ask for forgiveness of all your sins such as betrayal.”
“Rep. Chris Corley said the card was a political statement to his fellow Republicans meant as a joke in his smart-aleck style.”
That Chris, he’s a hoot! Nothing makes me chuckle like being accused of immorality, lack of principles, and sinful betrayal. A real knee slapper!
Whenever Republicans tell us, “Hey, We can’t be racists! We freed the slaves!”, one of them always stands up to remind us just what side of freedom -and history-- that the modern Republican party stands on.
Maybe he should honor his ancestors by introducing a resolution celebrating the Hamburg Massacre. Let the racist flag really fly.
