Someone needs to be primaried.

created an issue where there wasn’t a problem

Conservatism in a nutshell. Either “solving” problems that don’t exist, or applying “solutions” that don’t work (eg tax cuts).

It never ceases to amaze me how these GOP lawmakers never put one second of thought into what the side effects or ramifications will be of these stupid laws they pass. They assume everyone thinks exactly like them and are shocked when they find out that isn’t true. How many times must their bubbles be burst before they learn? (rhetorical question; the answer is never)

It was wrong because it was far too expansive. (face palm)

“Far to expansive”? What does that mean? It shouldn’t have included transgender people?

That is it. It’s hard for a conservative to be thoughtful otherwise.

I do believe that’s desperation I’m smelling and I do love that smell. Kind of like LTC Kilgore in Apocolypse Now.

Tax cuts work but you libruls are so damned impatient. It’s only been 30 years since St. Ronald stood economics on its ear. These things take time so just chill.

Must be some new poll numbers out scaring Burr.

"[T]he City of Charlotte created an issue where there wasn’t a problem,” Burr said. If they weren’t so uppity as to make discrimination illegal the General Assembly would not have had to correct them and this foofaraw would have been avoided.

Sometimes I forget that NC even has two senators. This one is a rare bird. Nary a peep out of him for five-and-a-half years, just party line votes.

Yep. It’s called “fence straddling”. I hope he loses. Could happen.

Rat: “Permission to leave the sinking ship, sir?”

Too expansive, you say? In what way(s), Charlie?

Yea but he is trying to have it both way by saying went to far then in next breath saying that Charlotte is to blame.

Time to write a new Profiles in Courage to highlight these brave Senators who risk it all weeks after issues arise to perch on a fence.

Thoughtful in an election year? Like, Trump?

I like how he follows the R playbook by blaming a local group as “the problem”. When one cannot identify the problem, any solution that works is an extremely low probability event.
