Discussion: Reports: Trump To Propose Major Cuts To Medicaid In Budget

Have you ever sat around waiting for someone in a coffee shop or a bar and inadvertently heard a bunch of old white FOX listeners talk smack and say one ignorant clueless thing after another? Now picture those guys in $2000 suits flying around the world in Air Force One.

By the way, Wilbur Ross is an idiot.

Since home care is really not an option in many instances, that’s an unnecessary debate.

I’m going back out on that limb and saying nothing, but nothing will come of this is the short term. Too much recess before the end of the year and then total inertia next year ahead of the mid-terms

But let Schumer 'splain it

ā€œThis budget continues to reveal President Trump’s true colors: His populist campaign rhetoric was just a Trojan horse to execute long-held, hard-right policies that benefit the ultra-wealthy at the expense of the middle class,ā€ Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement Sunday.

Agree completely. It’s just not going anywhere. Some Red State governors know and care that significant portions of their populations have nothing BUT Medicaid/Medicare/SS. With 2018 fast coming up on the horizon, this horror won’t stay intact. Will still be bad but - with changes.

But their children and grandchildren can.
And will.

Well, as soon as the the many in his base learns it is they too who are the targets of this, they’ll be scratching their heads. I wouldn’t expect much more from them though.

Because so many of their children and grandchildren are footing more and more of those bills these days.

I’ve read a lot of really stupid comments here over the years, but you have outdone most of them.

That one floats right to the top—like a turd in a punch bowl.

A trillion dollars worth of cuts to social programs? I hope they give some of that money to the military. No one ever gives any thought to the military anymore.

Ouch, I’m just so totally so devastated at your words. When are you going to start in with personal attacks that are par for course here when someone has a different opinion? Maybe you can be like Plucky and ask me to commit suicide like she did to Carlosfinance.

Is this the 800 billion cut in the healthcare bill? Or an additional 800 billion?

What you say is accurate. The immediate family in many cases does pay the bills in nursing homes. If I understand it correctly, unless the patient is proven to be indigent, the family will pay. My mother was in a private nursing home for just a few months before she died, but she had some assets though not much and I was presented with a hefty bill when she passed which I paid out of those assets.

I commented only on the content of your insipid post. Any questions about you personally are best answered by reading your comments. Nothing I could say would change that.

What’s been used more since WWII, navy ships or Medicaid?

Yeah, I was just reading about that Henry Clay situation last night.

Wilbur Ross also fell asleep on the trumpspeak in Saudi Arabia.
