How would Saudia Arabia respond if Iran were blown off the map? Iran is currently a check on SA, so if they were gone, Israel would actually lose on balance (not that I expect Bibi to care about such nuances). My understanding is that Iran and SA provide something of an unstable equilibrium in the region (with Israel as something of a wildcard since they aren’t friends with any of the major players). If Israel wiped out one, it seems like everything would become a scramble with tons of unintended consequences.

The issue is more that it truly turns the US into a nascent rogue state. Iran will probably continue to honor the deal with the remaining other nations, but will prepare for belligerence from the US.
If it will set them on the path to covertly procuring a nuclear weapon, time will only tell. But our standing on the world stage will have been completely destroyed from the foreseeable future.

Even if Congress does approve re-instating the sanctions, they’re meaningless now. The rest of the world is staying in the treaty and will continue trade with Iran. Unilateral sanctions would just be a joke.

The Conservative Movement is nothing but a joke at this point. Trump is just working out the details for its complete surrender to absurdity. It will not go out in a whimper but in a barrage from a semi with a bumper or more likely a nuclear war.
