He is so corrupt that I think that there would have been an investigation even if he had not fired Comey. The only difference would have been that the FBI would be the investigating body.

I’ve been investigating and trying to learn about Bitcoin/Blockchain technologies, and it is just such a fascinating rabbit hole. The line between “Revolution” and “Scam”, is so very fine. And Cryptocurrency is a bit of both. I really think there is technology here that will usher in lasting change.
If you want to learn more, I suggest starting here. Patrick O’Shaughnessy is very smart and humble and wades into it all with curiosity and skepticism. I found it all amazing. The people he talks to will blow your mind. I just don’t meet daily with people this clear, smart, and articulate. And what they are clear, smart and articulate about is crazy-hard to undestand.
But there is no getting around the fact that the rise in crypto is very attractive to people who need to hide money. From last Weekend’s FT:

…Deutsche Bank conducted its own internal analysis that found no evidence that its dealings with Trump were connected to the so-called Russian mirror trades affair, an alleged money laundering scheme to funnel Russian money out of the country.
Well, that certainly settles it for me. No point in pursuing this any further. Mueller should have this all wrapped up by Friday.

Well, to emphasize my first thought, I hope you’re right and certainly see it as possible that the Trump project collapses pretty quickly. Rotten structures often do. I’m not sure he’ll fire Mueller; he’s been told a thousand times it’ll create a crisis. He hates to get yelled at, is the thing. He likes to portray himself as combative but he doesn’t seem to relish actual fighting with someone his size. Most of all I’m sure Mueller has planned for all possible scenarios and done a lot of mine-laying. He’s got a world of hurt planned for Trump and his people no matter what they pull. So all I’m saying is this could very well be a more protracted thing than we’d wish.

Mueller, as a military man and sane conservative, strikes me as someone who would be incensed by the thought of treason in the White House. Here’s hoping for mercilessness.
