Canât help but note that the picture currently making the rounds is a picture of the shooter wearing African dress while they are shortening his name to Micah X. Johnson, notice the LA Times tweet right at the top. There is a twisting of the narrative happening right in front of our eyes. Here is a photo of the army veteran everyone is talking about.
One deranged, racially motivated black guy kills 5 people, itâs a national crisis and civil war. One white guy, Dylan Roof, kills 9 black people, itâs âthoughts and prayersâ and business as usual.
Micah X. sounds sinister. Micah Xavier sounds Catholic.

This really begs the question of what made him do vs. is this person/vet capable of causing harm to othersâŚ

Not known. According to the Dallas Police Chief this morning, the others in custody are refusing to talk. Johnson also claimed that there were bombs all over downtown Dallas. None have been found.
Where does one acquire a sniper rifle?
The historic undertones of deadly sniper fire in Dallas canât be lost on many of us. Iâm deeply troubled by this.
Great Point! Culturally, America is more threatened by black on white violence than white on black violence. And I think this is because black on white violence directly challenges the underlying white supremacy or white authoritarianism of American culture. And this is also why BLM is so upsetting to some white Americans. But putting that aside, all of these dead victims, black and white, would still be alive if most guns and ammunition were banned for most people. And police would be far less aggressive with suspects, black and white, if guns were rare in our society.
$50 says this guy was, or should have been, on someoneâs radar but concerns were buried. Weâll soon read he was recommended for counseling but was denied, had to wait, couldnât afford it, refused to go, denied he needed it, etc. Ex-spouses or girlfriends will say they knew something like this could happen. Other Reservists will say the same. A commanding officer thought he was âoddâ and short-tempered. Rarely does such a murderous explosion literally spring forth from a sane, rational, emotionally stable person with a support network of likeminded sane friends and relatives. The signs were there. And ignored.
What IEDs?
There have not been any found at the scene. He simply threatened that there were. Just like the fucked up shooter in Orlando claimed he planted at the scene but turned out not to be true.

Not exactly. The president led the funeral service in Charleston with a beautiful and eloquent testimonial to those who died and by his presence let the country know these murders would not be forgotten. The shooter in SC is being prosecuted by the feds who are going to ask for the death penalty.

This is a point that is under-reported in the shootings-by-police debate. Not to make excuses at all for any brutality or abuse of power, but the militarization of U.S. police (both physically and mentally) is directly correlated to the militarization of U.S. civilians. They are constantly on edge â and will be even more so because of the murderous idiot.
And sadly, most of the Police Unions out there are Extremely Pro-NRA.
Youâd think that theyâd want to keep deadly weapons out of the hands of civilians to protect their own lives.
But youâd be wrong.
Which is true and yet totally mystifying.
