And why would Trump listen to them. It doesn’t serve his endgame.
This would seem to suggest that Wray and Rosenstein believe that Nunes works for the President. As far as I know, Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) is the only one who believes this.
This is what happens when you elect a veterinarian to Congress.
In the meeting with Kelly, Rosenstein did most of the talking and warned Kelly that releasing the memo to the public could jeopardize classified information, according to the Washington Post.
Had Rosenstein said to the lamp-shade that Russian secrets might be compromised, he’d have gotten further.
Kurt Schrader (D-Oregon) disagrees with you.
This ain’t your father’s GOP kids!
My fathers GOP hated Negros. Modern Republicans are more even handed: they hate blacks, Hispanics, Arabs, etc…
Speech ? What Speech?
Oh yeah back t business as usual.
Lying , Corruption, Collusion
I’m betting Trump steps in it Bigly before sunset tonight
Although he must be enjoying the rave reviews on Faux Headlines were along the lines of Greatest speech ever
Nunes is a farmer, not a vet.
A quick revisit
Jebus Tapdancing Christ
They added Michelle Malkin and her moderate views to the mix
Oh he will go off today
That explains all the BS.
Read the posting again, slowly.
Actually, assuming you and I are relatively contemporary in age, our father’s GOP would have been the political party that traditionally had the vote of Black Americans. It was founded by Abraham Lincoln, and Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. Many prominent Black Americans identified as Republican, and most notably, in my elementary school years, Jackie Robinson appeared to be in conflict with some of the Civil Rights leadership with whom he had previously stood because after the 1964 Democratic Convention, black Americans began identifying as Democrat.
FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt’s concern for the poor and oppressed had created Democrat allegiance in the Black community. And you have no reason to know this, but in Puerto Rico the Republican Party was founded in the early XXth Century by a Black doctor who had done his undergraduate and medical school at University of Michigan, Jose Celso Barbosa. Barbosa aspired to Statehood and believed that the American Judicial System would eventually overcome the country’s institutionalized racism.
This is clear evidence of their complicity. The memo proves that Wray and Rosenstein ran a bestiality caravanserai on the estate adjacent to Hillary’s home in Chappaqua.
I think it boils down to the fact that people want a party that reflects their needs and governs for all.
I wish I was optimistic but after Trump and the Tea Party I don’ know if we can ever go back.
Shit is broken
By the 1960’s—before Nixon—the GOP was already full of toxic racists on the right, such as Buckley.
It seems that the change began in the 1950’s, before I was born, and the shift was taking place in earnest by the early 60’s.
When Johnson sent Southern Democrats into the arms of the GOP, they found a warm place already.
But did they also sell pizza?
Worse: medium-rare steaks with no ketchup.
I honestly find it difficult to believe that moron was smart enough to get through vet school. Vet school is like medical school except you have to learn the anatomy and physiology of many, many more than just the one species. Vets are almost always smart, deeply empathetic and inherently decent people, including the ones who work on pigs and cows. I suppose the ones who really don’t give a shit might go to work for the poultry industry where the job is to identify sick birds so they can be immediately killed, but I can’t see this moron even being smart enough for that.
It is easy for me to believe, however, that he’s in Congress for the same reason Republican doctors are there: because his colleagues consider Congress an alternative to a difficult and expensive license revocation procedure.
Let’s just say Nunes and Trump report to the same person . . .
