I understand that the most basic requirement of the special counsel statute is that the report must state the decisions to indict and the decisions not to indict. So we should know as soon as Barr lets us know…

I am still afraid that this will be like Bridgegate. Something terrible happened, and we know that the guy at the top was up to his neck in it, but we can only directly implicate pathetic underlings. (I am not sure that I have ever hoped more seriously that I am wrong.)

  3. If this report is true, there must be an instant uproar from Democrats to set the agenda for disclosure and for counterpunching in the (almost certain) event that there will be no arrests for unlawful coordination. This is the ticket, right here:
