The Ottawa Constable is saying that there was more than one suspect as in ‘others’ (multiple, more than 2) flew the scene.

Catherine, get a grip on yourself. The tweets are not conflicting. Maybe this sort of thing is beyond you.

He wouldn’t still be on the loose here in America. With all of our citizens armed, perps like this are always quickly subdued by a law-abiding bystander, exercising his God-given Second Amendment rights to protect the freedom of all.

That’s why events such as this never occur in the United States. All of the would-be perps are deterred by the specter of millions of law-abiding gun owners, each of whom are willing to do their duty on a moment’s notice. Rather than attacking people in public, such criminals sit at home, reeling in horror.

Well, at least the MSM finally figured out a way to get the fear-mongering over the Ebola Apocalypse off the front page. Now we can listen endlessly to the fear-mongering over Islamo-fascism taking root in Canada. Islamo-phobia will be the next campaign rhetoric we can all look forward to…Sigh.

Ironically, it turns out our Northern border is now one in which they will fine tune our fear detectors over. That Southern border is just sooo yesterday. And all the rightwingers in Canada will surely get on board with that one.

Here’s the thing…there is absolutely no comment from the Canadian gov’t or the mounties or the constable in charge at this hour that this is from any Islamic extremists. I’m not saying it is or isn’t, but I’m saddened and amused how quickly the analysis on cable has veered entirely in that direction, and has left all other speculation out of their “wait and see” analysis. What happened to only reporting on what they know at this hour…??? Journalism has gone to shit.

They have on foreign policy ‘experts’ to opine endlessly about this. Where are the ‘experts’ who do the usual domestic criminal analysis? Maybe it’s your run-of-the-mill anarchists or eco-terrorists fed up with Harper’s position on the Canadian Tar Pits…Who knows. Argggghhhh.
