Muslims and blacks are immune to mental derangement.
It’s only Christian white guys who suffer mental illness.

Inconvenient timing for Wayne LaPierre. But then again, it’s California so there are no good guys with guns obviously. Maybe someone could fashion one out of kale.

I’m old. I remember when the only work place shootings were at the post office. It was so part of American life when anyone shot up their work place we called it “going postal”.

Have we yet reached the point where mass shootings are only covered as local news stories - like car accidents and warehouse fires?

The good news is if the gun is an AR-15, it can’t be too bad because that’s not a “real military assault rifle”.

There are way too many people in California for open carry. It would be fucking insane.

Female suspect? That’s unusual.

Everytime there’s an airplane accident, CNN is first to report that the aircraft was a “Boeing Airbus”.

I’ll say it again: Why in the hell does BBC do at least as well at shoe-leather, work-the-phones breaking-news reporting here as our domestic cable news and major news outlets do? I’ve always thought that was disgraceful.
