National Review reported that four senators would announce their endorsements of Cruz

Gandalf: “And I must confess that, uh, several of our group are, in fact, Dwarves.”
Beorn: “Do you call two ‘several’?”
Gandalf: “Well, uh, now you put it that way… Yes, there could be more than two.”
(More dwarves enter, Gandalf, stuttering) “Oh, and here are some more of our, uh, happy troop.”
Beorn: “And do you call six a ‘troop’? What are you, a traveling circus?”

Cruz: I expect all of my bigoted colleagues to fall in line and endorse me, They will have to work with me when I am POTUS, otherwise I will make their life a living hell.

Turns out it was four “senate endorsements”:

  • Jimmy “Sweeps” O’Donnell (Senior Senate Custodian).
  • J. Dinkwell IV (First-Year Senate Page).
  • Buzzy Grabowski (Night Conductor, Senate People Mover).
  • Lou Shinks (Towell Attendant, Senate Gents).

Cruz is giddy over a pending endorsement by someone “pretty high up” in the Senate Cafeteria.

Didn’t Mike Lee play the pilot in Snakes On A Plane? I think they’re the same guy, I’ve never seen them together. At least it’s not like a member of the old Washington Senators baseball team. I had predicted earlier it would be Brutus or Cassius. I’m not good at predicting these things, but of course it’s Mike Lee, how’d I miss that?

What’s astonishing is that it’s taken this long for Lee to endorse Cruz. Even Lee probably thinks Cruz is an asshole.
