I hear what you’re saying, but remember there’s a ton we don’t know. Something on the order of 90% of his information hasn’t been released, there’s his gambling issues, debt that was somehow paid off, alcoholism, perjury in previous testimony, and really, do we know if there weren’t other women?
Nearly impossible as it is to convict and I wouldn’t give good odds on it, you just never know.

Well, they could have a go at Pence. Say what you will about the Mango one, but his many physical and mental idiosyncrasies make him a caricaturist’s dream come true. Pence, on the other hand, is such a bland looking white cotton swab of a man; there’s not much to work with. Aside from drawing him as an anthropomorphic q-tip [too plump around they middle though], he’s a real challenge.

We’ll keep learning more and he’ll keep hearing what we’re learning which will likely be humiliating for him and the women in his life. The move may never pay off in in a conviction, they haven’t yet, but just to keep him on the hot seat would be satisfying.

Well, I love this story. At a ceremony in Oakland on Friday where several hundred people were sworn in as citizens, the jeering and catcalling began when a video with PP speaking was played
“We share one American heart and one American destiny,” and a voice in the audience shouted: “But you don’t even have a heart” — prompting the entire room to break out in laughter, cheers and clapping.

a) There is no such thing as a better nominee (especially now), there are only nominees who are able to avoid getting mentioned in a Cam Joseph exclusive.
b) As long as ‘45’ is at the adult table, the next nominee will have to deal with the same scrutiny, as Kavanaugh did, i.e.: “does the new nominee think that Trump should be saved?”

I’ll have to drop Rubin a note telling her everyone here disagrees because you all are right. There is no better candidate, they’ll all be rabid, toadying RWers, and since the process is already pretty much a joke, no one says anything near the truth, we’ll get a new name with his unique baggage (and if orange thinks a female nominee will change things he’s mistaken).

I’ve been amused at the veiled threats that are inherent in the musing over who might be named if Kavanaugh crashes and burns. Earlier this week I heard more than once “you’ll get someone worse.” I don’t want to dare them to find someone worse, but really…is that all you guys have? A threat to find a worse POS than you already offered? As if he are supposed to be saying “at least he is only an accused rapist. There are actual rapists in prison that he could have nominated.”
I guess one reason they haven’t pulled his nomination yet is that they’re trying to think of someone worse. Roy Moore is probably available.
