As satisfying as this is, the dumpster fire that Donald ignites over this, terrifies me.
And so it begins.
Yup. That’s how mobsters retain power.
Rick Gates–I’ve seen that name before.
Yesterday’s “business associate”–today’s Person of Interest
tomorrows “person familiar”
Who knows what next?
If he’s to be charged, Gates could have “dealt” to reach Manafort.
That leaves Flynn to inform on someone else as a part of his “deal”
Someone higher up. Who could that be.
Lemme think…
Not Carter Page…
Hasn’t the fbi been investigating manafort for years now? Can’t wait to find out what the clinching evidence is, and what precisely it relates to. When are we expecting the specific charges to be leaked?
They should sing this to him as they drag him away:
I’m visiting Fox newsy relatives, and so I’ve gotten to see how really really deeply Fox is on board with Trump and his authoritarian agenda. I never watch Fox, even recreationally, but they are sooooo complicit here. Who cooridinates the WH, GOP, and FOX messaging? How does it happen that they all are on the same page with this Uranium/Dossier Funding stuff? Who is giving the marching orders?
The exact charges against Manafort and his business associate Rick Gates were not clear early Monday, according to the Times.
Well, we’re soon going to find out if our three-branch system of government still works, or if we’re doomed.
I wonder how he feels about his loyalty oath now.
It’s hardly worth mentioning that Manafort is central to this and extremely vulnerable. He gives it up or he goes away for the rest of his life. If he doesn’t want to do that, then Trump goes.
Now we go nuclear. IC war going to new levels. Just got an EM fm senior IC friend, it began: "He will die in jail."https://t.co/e6FxCclVqT

I’d be more enthused about these charges if it was Eric Schneiderman that was filing them.
And so it begins. What the indictments say will be interesting and either neutral or damaging to Trump. But, either way, the campaign chairman is being indicted the guy with the most Russian/Ukraine connections. Hire only the best people, ya know. And Trump is tweeting about who paid Fusion GPS again (Obama, too) - it seems to be his major attempt to distract now.
Manafort is in some deep shit! Luckily for Trump he “barely knew Manafort” as Paulie was his campaign manager “for a very short period”.
Rupert Murdoch. TRump has him on speed dial, as does Jared. A lot of that was reported over the summer.
To clarify Tom Barrack is the close Trump confidant billionaire who recently talked to Donald about his racist outbursts, supposedly saying “you’re better than this.”
He’s also the guy whose company, Colony Capital is now supporting Harvey Weinstein.
One can speculate that from now on Weinstein will be “bundling” funds for the GOP.
Who had Manafort in the pool? Besides all of us, I mean?
Trump flaks will be quick to point out whatever Manafort is accused of doing (presumably once everyone has a chance to review the indictments) pre-dates his time as Trump’s campaign Chair.
Yes Indictment Bingo is about as exciting as regular bingo, to be honest. Unless Baron is next. Or Tiffany.

[/quote]A lot of it will, that’s unavoidable because there’s so much there. But, hopefully there’s some spillover to his days with the campaign.
