CBS has been granted exclusive coverage of “The Reprobate Olympics”
They took the lead after Ailes got ousted (and then died).
Please let him be the guy who ordered that all CBS news online videos be autoplay all the time. CBS is dead to me until they change their video policy.
They kept Two and a Half Men on too long and let the Big Bang Theory go too soon. Still better than NBC, though.
I finally understand what they mean by “media exposure”…

’Designing Women’ Creator Goes Public With Les Moonves War: Not All Harassment Is Sexual (Guest Column)
By Linda Bloodworth Thomason
Reading this was like a gut punch. It illustrates the profound impact of misogyny, how much we’ve missed out on because of men like Moonves and Fager (& the culture of complicity surrounding them) having access to the highest levels of power.
How will they ever replace these men?!
(LOL!)
“This action today is not directly related to the allegations surfaced
in press reports, which continue to be investigated independently,”
You can grope female staffers for years but once accounting notices how many pens are missing from the office supply room…
“Will the last man to leave CBS amid sexual misconduct accusations please turn off the lights.”
“Two and a Half Men”. Ewww. Just hearing that title makes me want to retch. It’s almost as bad as “Two Broke Girls”, another CBS masterpiece that I consider the ebola of TV sitcoms.
The prevelance of this horror show is just disheartening. Didn’t anyone teach these men how to behave?
I want to bake him all the pies.

It’s notable that the reporter forcing these things to light had multiple points of privilege: name recocgnition, money, contacts, platform, reputation and plenty of job prospects given his already impressive multifaceted resume.
Tonight on “60 Miscreants”…
It had its moments. The first 2 seasons, and seasons 6 and 7 when he was engaged and trying in a very maladroit way to be human, and then the odd funny bit–I’d say 5 years funny, 7 years painful.
To paraphrase a famous line from the late, great Robin Williams, “Sexual harassment is God’s way of telling you that your boss is making too much money.”
They’re going to have to dig a lot deeper to root out the rest of Fager’s “Frat Bros”. I’m not holding my breath that it will happen, since I have an aversion to turning blue and dying.
One such note should not result in termination after 36 years, but it did.
Um, no, I’m pretty sure it didn’t.
Yes, I think that was the problem. The last 3000+ years of Western culture has promulgated these sorts of abuses as “their due.”
