Why worry about “death threats”. Everyone seems to get them but no one dies. I doubt he received any. He’s skipping the CES because he’d be about as welcome there as a Ruth’s Cris chef at a vegan show. They don’t want him there. No one wants to kill him. That’s just cowardly yak. They don’t like him and don’t want him in their joint. So he’s not going.
I remember a million years ago, our local paper cancelled the comic strip Nancy. They were stunned because they got 10 times more mail over that than any issue or change ever.
Peoples’ cable bills and movie speeds matter more than any of Trump’s collusion to most Americans. Dems should harp on this a lot this year.
I don’t think you’ll see much of Mr. Pai’s work this year. There’s an election coming up and you can bet he made a deal with the TelCo’s not to jump on this and give Democrats examples to use in the fall. 2018 is when this stuff goes hot.
Another toxic, turd-in-a-punch bowl Trump sycophant doing the exact opposite of what the American people want.
Like he didn’t know there would be a push back?
Good. He deserves it.
Dems should start making it a promise that they will turn the internet into a public utility. PERIOD. Enough is enough.
Is he referring to the death of the Internet?
Indeed, as it so obviously should be. The only way to be intellectually consistent and be against that is to claim that there should be no public utilities at all.
I guess that’s actually the way a significant number of very confused people feel about it. What’s a “libertarian” to do?
If DT, his sycophants and enablers label media’s use of anonymous sources as FAKE NEWS, then why is Pai skipping out on the gadget show for “unidentified security reasons” and “death threats, citing unidentified people.”?
From what I’ve read on the major AV sites over the past few weeks (I’m a big home theater fan), Ajit Pai and his net neutrality positions are despised. He and his handlers should have known he would not be welcomed by the people attending CES. What a dick!
