I love this!!! [I used to work in a historic (i.e. old) building which had a creepy basement. When we had a candidate in for an interview, I had to take him down there as he would have to keep equipment in the basement for storage. I knew he was the one to hire when he said, âWell, if you add some straps on the wall, you could either rent the space out for low-budget horror films or use it to force employees to admit who is stealing yogurt from the lunch room.â]

This is interesting. Something is going on. Senators are being briefed. In secret. Something tells me that the FBI and other intel agencies do have enough information to make several arrests, but theyâre holding off until they gather even more information that leads to a much larger source. Until that happens, they need to allow as much rope as necessary for BAU to continue until the guilty hang themselves. Something else tells me that the longer they wait, the more damaging US/foreign relation will become when their secret is revealed. Maybe thatâs why itâs still a secret. Whatever info US Intel has, it must be pretty GD big!

If the order of mtgs is correct, then Iâd infer Comey disclosed to house intelligence committee gang of 8 and his disclosure was leaked to the White House. Trump goes on his twitter rampage and Comey is now no longer briefing Gang of 8 but the party heads only due to the breach. If content leaks now we will know more narrowly how and from whom. In the interim however we are all left guessing.
This is why congress doesnât get to play with the good toys. They over share.
Btw, this all results in weakened congressional investigations so win for trump unless Comey does his job. And he likely has his own leaks to deal with if NY is involved.
