You beat me to it. Just off the headline, the imagery is immediately conjured of the last group of people who sorted out kids from their parents.
Disgusting. How can these people call themselves Christians?
âOpticsâ is not a strength in this administrationâŚ
Punishing poor children is something the GOP does so well.
Seriously, how is this not a crime against humanity?
Hasnât been used yet.
Whatâs becoming very clear, and is really disturbing, is that we clearly have a large, militant right-wing contingent in law enforcement agencies in America who were just waiting for this opportunity to act like Brownshirts.
Getting rid of the head of the snake isnât enough, eventually weâre going to have to prune the ranks of these agencies of these people.
From twitter-troll to real-life-fairy-tale-child-stealing Troll. You think there is a rock bottom for this shameful monster but the pit just keeps deepening.
âVerily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.â
Canât remember who said it, though. Reagan? Lincoln?
Certainly not Jesus.
According to my copy of the RepublicanBibleâ˘, Jesus said, âBeat down those who are weaker than you and steal from the hungry. Take the clothing from the backs of the poor, and use it to line the beds of your animals. Glorify Him by accumulating money, for He will richly reward those with the most when they appear before Himâ
OK so letâs not hear any more talk about how all that crazy stuff during the campaign was just manipulative red meat for the base. He said all those cruel and stupid things because as weâre coming to see, however disbelievingly at first, he really is that cruel and stupid.
It just occurred to me that breaking up families was considered wrong and bad by slaveowners. Thatâs a pretty low standard not to meet.
What do you know? The purported Party of family values doesnât give a fig about family values when the families in question are minorities.
No worries, Donnie will have pony rides and a water slide.

he really is that cruel and stupid.
[/quote]Being cruel and stupid in the real estate world and his other businesses was too confining. As president, he could really spread his wings and show the depth and breadth of his hate and cruelty; gather a following of bigots, racists, misogynists, and generalized haters who want to do unto the âothersâ truly terrible things; and impose all of his most vile impulses and actions on as many people as possible. (And increase his profits while doing it.)
oh well⌠itâs not like âcompassionate conservatismâ was ever a real thing anywayâŚ
And it is very interesting (and scary) how quickly there are so many willing to do his bidding. We talk about uninformed voters, I am beginning to feel we just have a country that is not as enlightened as I once thought. We truly have a lot of unstable folks being led by an unstable leader. What will my grandchildrenâs world be?
Thanks for the story; okay for today. What will be tomorrowâs distraction from Trumputingate?
