Discussion: Reports: Biden's Son Kicked Out Of Navy Reserve After Testing Positive For Cocaine

Discussion for article #228947

Relieved of his Commission in the Reserves after serving for less than a year ?

How’s this for a resume:

former lobbyist
lawyer
works for an investment house

Koch test eh? The entire GOP has Koch in their system.

Red state yahoos don’t do coke. They can’t afford it. Instead, they get plastered on JD, drive their pickups home, run red lights, stop to throw up by the side of the road, and sometimes fall asleep in their trucks. Despite their loser life, they’re deluded enough to think of themselves as real Americans and everybody else is out to destroy their superlative way of life.

My question…why is this a story now. He was let go over a year ago from the Reserves…June 2013. The original WSJ writer of this information was on Maddow’s show last night and I didn’t hear a convincing argument as to why this story was popping up now on the WSJ pages, since these matters are always kept private according to Maddow. Did we ever hear much about Neil Bush’s criminal activity during Poppy Bush’s time in office as VP? Not to my recollection. And Neil was a real embarrassment, bilking taxpayers out of a $1.5 billion in a Savings and Loan scam.

To the contrary, one red state yahoo didn’t show up for his flight physical for the champagne National Guard assignment his big shot daddy got for him so he could avoid going to Vietnam – for reasons never stated save “youthful indiscretion” — and that imbecile became perhaps the worst President of the United States in history.

Yeah, okay; the youngest son of the Vice President has a coke problem. We also have a U.S. Senator’s son being charged with the death of 21 dogs. Oh, and lest we forget; from 2000 to 2008 we had a President who was a drunk and a “former” coke abuser.

“It was the honor of my life to serve in the U.S. Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge,” Biden said in a statement provided to Reuters by his lawyer. “I respect the Navy’s decision. With the love and support of my family, I’m moving forward.”

Sounds like he owned up to his irresponsibility. Good on him, and I wish him the best of luck for him moving forward.

Moron. In his 40s, his Dad is a longtime Senator and the VP OF THE UNITED STATES. Dumb ass.

Too bad Hunter’s dad is not the Chief Spook for the CIA.
That worked out well for Bush the Lesser when he was in the Texas Martini Air Force spending all his time getting hammered and coked up in New Orleans with transvestite hookers.

The WSJ was contacted by “a source” according to the reporter appearing with Ms. Maddow last evening…likely a very cash-flush source. I don’t remember this level of hubbub when the Rethug Congresscritter from Ft. Myers was busted last year with a powdered sugar nose.

Actually, it became a big story – and he resigned his seat.

So did this unelected person two years ago…

And we still have a US Senator in Congress today, that visited multiple prostitutes, and apparently likes wearing diapers.

Hard up for news, I guess. Though newsworthy, this isn’t.

Bush was grounded for refusing to take a flight physical.

In April 1972, at the same time the military began drug and alcohol testing for the first time, Bush stopped flying the F-102, and according to White House documents, did not take a required physical in May. He was formally suspended in September 1972 for failing to take the test. Spokesman Review

Yes, Biden Jr. should have followed W’s example and skipped the physical.

I was drafted and went to OCS. I flew helicopters in Nam! Officer for 6 years! Hard work getting a commission. This bum had to get waivers for past drug use AND because he was too old. What Nepotism! I want to know details of how this came about. There are all kinds of soldiers facing losing their military careers do to RIF. (reduction of force) This clown did NOTHING to earn ,this. BTW, he was commissioned in May and kicked out in June of the same year!

Guarantee he was turned in by fellow cadets. There’s no privacy in those programs so he could be easily spotted stuffing his nose.
Then anybody could have leaked this for political reasons.
