Same here. When I get stuff from Amazon, the UPS guy has yet to threaten me with a weapon. However, the day is still fairly young. On a grimmer note, the gun nuttery is only going to get worse, I fear.

On the days when savagery, sadism, and misanthropy in general seem to be the new “normal,” comic relief is just about the only relief you have. That and alcohol.

I heard an fascinating radio report on these events, the “death toll” gets recorded, but many of the “wounded” are severely so–paralyzed, brain injuries, any number of horrible life-long injuries. The “wounded” need a lot of expensive care and many can no longer work.

And those are just the physical wounds.

Republicans and their leader, Donald Trump, will soon proclaim the perp to be a registered Democrat, send thoughts and prayers, hold a moment of silence, blame President Obama and Sec. Clinton for scaring the perp into buying an assault weapon and ban Mooslims’ and call for walling out Mexicans from Walmart.

Could be a real ol’ fashioned shoot out…because …Walmart.
