Remember when Ailes got the boot a year and a half ago and and Rupert took over temporarily? Turns out it wasnât so temporary. Rupert is having too much fun talking to Trump all the time, propagandizing on his and the Republicansâ behalf, and pulling Trumpâs strings with what Fox runs.

Factual basis? Thatâs easy. Itâs the fact that 99% of those who produce ânewsâ for Fox are shills not just for the right-wing, but the most extreme maniacs of the right-wing.

My mom has female acquaintances in her church group that occasionally opine out loud that women probably shouldnât be able to vote. Granted, thatâs in the Midwest, but I think weâre once again missing the boat if we think degrading women is a dealbreaker for a huge segment of women, particularly white women.
Viewed academically, the Trump movement has brought some very ugly truths about large swaths of the American population into the light. The assumption that âwomen are equal to menâ and âblacks are equal to whitesâ were now effectively universally believed is being exposed as dangerously false.

That is the problem with Dems pushing Al Franken out. Getting rid of him just proves to a very large section of the country that Dems are stupid. After all, âthose women should not have been in the position where a man could harass or assault them. Or they should be honored by attention from any man. After all, those girls asked for Mooreâs interest. His future wife dancing. Dancing! The strumpet! We shouldnât let people like that vote!â

Other than teachers or other staff at a high school, who else has someone in his 30s sign their yearbook? Having once been a high-school girl, I remember all the kids hanging out on the quad passing around yearbooks to sign, but I donât recall any local District Attorneys in the group.
That said, it makes perfect sense to me that a high-school girl who is dating a man twice her age would ask him to sign her most special book and he would oblige because it was something important to her. Thatâs the creepy part.

Iâve been out looking at the coverage of this story by the SCLM and theyâre all on board with the idea that the lede here isnât âhandwriting expert confirms itâs Roy Mooreâs inscription and signature.â No, the lede is that she âadmitsâ she added the date and place and that this somehow completely undermines the entire story.
Compare and contrast to the coverage of the Franken story.

Nice to see some in the political media pushing back against Fox News, the largest purveyor of propaganda in the country. Until the big names, CNN, NYT, etc., begin policing their own in regards to Fox News not much will change in this country.

Sadly, it wouldnât even matter. Iâm starting to lose real hope that anything will change as long as Fox continues the way itâs going. Obstruction, who cares. Mueller firing, justice done because he was partisan. Where the hell does this end? How the hell can it end? I fear it will only take a seriously catastrophic event.
