I wonder what the “native Indians” are going to think?

Hey, is that swamp drained yet?

Yes. Trump drained the swamp so that he could get to the swamp monsters at the bottom to fill his cabinet…

Well he did retire from the Navy.
So all that “duty, honor, country stuff…”?
Null and void, right, Mr. Secretary?
Just keep those Government pension checks and PX privileges coming folks!

All the evil these guys do and travel expenses are what stings them? Wow.

Keep an eye on this snake. Ever since reading that while being a first term congressman, when Boehner was essentially ousted - he threw his hat into the ring for speakership (ballsy). In his second term he was an early Trump supporter, and let Trump know that he was very interested in the VP slot. Again a no-name back bencher - assuming he is all that special and should be elevated above others based on ? how “Special” he is?

Special kind of ego/entitlement due to his self-perceived specialness - fits right in with this administration. But bears a special kind of keeping track of.

He didn’t retire from the Navy he was drummed out for abusing his travel privileges. Some things never change for the entitled.

It seems patently clear that the millionaires and billionaires who Trump appointed to his administration don’t feel it’s necessary to downgrade from their luxury lifestyle while working on the public’s dime.

It’s not that new, Al Capone did the St. Valentines Day Massacre but what they got him for was tax evasion.

If private plane rides do the trick for this bunch. I’m all 10-4, ready to take off.

McConnell was all set to run Zinke against Tester.
Trump considered a variety of other clowns, including Mary Fallin.
Don Jr. intervened to get Zinke nominated.
RNC had to blow a wad of cash to get Gianforte elected to Zinke’s seat.
McConnell back to the drawing board.
Zinke circling the drain.

It’s like Al Capone and taxes.

The predictable response to this will be, because it’s already been put out there, “But what about all the trips people in the Obama Administration took?!?!”

I guess what many of these self-professed conservatives don’t seem to understand is that, if you constantly set yourself up as morally superior to everyone else (which conservative people have been doing in pretty much every human culture for thousands of years), but you then fail to live up to your own braggadocio, the reaction from the rest of us will be proportionate to your hypocrisy.

When you sell yourselves to the public as fiscal conservatives and/or moral warriors, when you talk endlessly about how much money you’re going to save everyone compared to the last guy, when you campaign on the ‘issue’ of the President taking too many vacations or playing too much golf, and then you turn around and do each and every thing you knocked the other person for doing, well, then of course everyone is going to react very strongly and negatively to you. (Like, if you’re anti-abortion and anti-gay-marriage but demand that your mistress get an abortion, for instance, people won’t like that very much.)

That reaction isn’t because you’re a ‘conservative,’ it’s because you’re a giant hypocrite. And we’re angry not only at your big, dumb, obvious hypocrisy, but we’re also angry that you’re forcing the rest of us have to spend our time dealing with your hypocrisy rather than on what we’d like to be doing, which is running the country effectively and making everyone’s lives better.

For all of their claims of patriotism and love of country, it’s almost always conservatives who attempt (and often succeed) to shut everything down while everyone else is forced to stop and bask in the glow of how morally superior they are. The Clinton impeachment trial, the constant government shutdowns, the endless attempts to overturn the ACA, these people don’t want the country to work, they just always want to be the total center of attention.

It’s not that I’m not upset that sometimes people in the Obama administration may have also done things that are inappropriate, it’s that there’s this entire group of people who constantly brag about how superior they are to the rest of us and then constantly fail to live up to it. And most of them don’t ever seem to understand that that’s the problem. We can deal with fiscal irresponsibility and lots of other issues, but first we all have to agree that campaigning for political positions, or achieving fame on talk radio, based upon nothing more than your own disproportionate and dishonest sense of moral or personal superiority, will only and inevitably lead to gridlock and damage.

Whatever comes of this Administration, it will be entirely their own fault. But it will be the rest of us who will have to clean it up.

Con men, grifters and chiselers. Trump and his so-called cabinet.

Run for office- the 2018 elections are only 12 months away, and if Trump and Louie Gohmert can get elected what’s to stop a qualified candidate?

Become a Precinct Committee Officer, sometimes it’s a Ward officer. You’ll meet with neighborhood Dems and get out the vote. Find good citizens willing to run for office.

Register people to vote. If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led Voter run-around help them do that.

Run for School Board. Make sure Civics is being properly taught. Think a majority of America knows how government works? Just 26% of eligible voters in America voted for Trump and half of eligible voters stayed home last November. Today’s 12-year olds will be voting for President in 8 years.

Run for Mayor, City Council, County Commissioner, Borough Assembly.

Get appointed to your Planning Commission. Know everything going on in your community.

Run for State Legislature or Congress. The next census is in 2020, then we’ll redraw Congressional Districts. Get rid of GERRYMANDERING! Safe GOP seats gave us such intellectual giants as Louie Gohmert and Steve King. In most cases it’s the state Legislature that draws Congressional boundaries. Make it FAIR, OPEN and HONEST!

Overturn Citizens United. Money is NOT speech and Corporations are NOT people- at least not until Texas executes one.
Overturn any voter ID laws the are clearly an attempt to disenfranchise.
