110 mass shootings since 2009. Approximately 40,000+ gun homicides during that time. In America 20+ people are murdered with guns daily, and many times that number are wounded.
Yet lets focus even more airtime on the trial of someone vaguely involved in the Boston Bombing that killed 3 and wound 264.

I am wondering how much the number changes if the definition is 3 or more vs the 4 or more standard.

It’s interesting what you learn when you actually look into things. Only 14 percent of the incidents involved gun-free zones. None of the perpetrators were adjudicated mentally ill, and only 11 percent had raised mental-health worries that were brought to the authorities. So sorry, trolls! A couple big mass-murder talking points have now gone bye-bye. The use of military-style guns and high-cap magazines created 156 percent more injuries and 63 percent more deaths. Another uncomfortable fact for you trolls. Of course it goes without saying so they didn’t say it, but 100 percent of the incidents involved guns. You don’t commit mass murder with a swimming pool. So if it’s all the same to you trolly trolly trolls, the normal people will continue to consider gun violence in the United States a problem for which we’ll continue to seek at least partial solutions.
