Well, they do say that politics make strange bedfellows. I reckon that first call to the Assad government was a little awkward.
LOL! Just a tad. For me, though, I can’t believe surveillance flights have just “begun.” If NSA hasn’t (at least) had satellites hovering over that area, I’d be very surprised.

Do you really think we haven’t been doing reconnaissance over Syria since the conflict began?
