For the millionth time, the government isn’t a TV show. The goal is not “ratings.” No need for drawn out rollouts.

“Lower” Courts, indeed.
It’s the Chubby Checker “Limbo Rock” list of nominees:
“How low can you go?”

And a big shout-out yet again to those Stein voters who said there was no difference between the candidates! Thanks, guys! Happy? These judges are there for life! Woo hoo!

No doubt Bumpy the Clown President was given a list from the last person he talked to at his golf course in N.J. this weekend. Some rich prick that belongs as a member, passed on a list and Bumpy said, “Good, less work for me. Let’s go with these.”

My neighbor across the street was nominated for a Federal District Court judgeship by Obama. Even made it through a judiciary committee hearing. Then, nothing. I shudder to think of the difference between her on the bench and whoever Trumpy will nominate.

You can bet these nominees will be vetted about as good as all his other nominees have been…which means, not at all.

Their only qualification is that they pissed off a liberal at some point in their career, or that they did some onerous thing that got them some attention as a social outcast at a prior time, for which they fit in perfectly as a rightwing culture warrior.

I hope that every, EVERY, Berniac and Stein/Johnson voter is personally affected by these terrible court appointments.

One reason there are so many openings is because GOP filibustered Obama’s appointees to federal judgeships.

Well, I guess that means Hair Furor has finally found a job in his administration for David Duke.

I remember what happened when Barack Obama issued a list of nominees for the Federal courts. There had been 68 filibusters of Federal judges in the previous 220 years, and the Republicans then proceeded to filibuster 79 of the people Obama nominated.

Good times.

OT: Huge slam, this guy worked in the White House and dutifully tows the GOP line. Not anymore.

Rachel Maddow:

RM: Have you ever noticed the other person who you recognize sitting at that table? … Jill Stein.
D&M: Oh snap …
RM: Jill Stein is sitting on the other side of Putin, like, in the foreground of that picture. Can we please, see the grey hair, in the front there, that is Jill Stein …
D&M: Ohhhhhhh, shit … Jill Stein just took the stack of hundreds from her ear, like … Rachel, why you snitching? Yo delete that snapchat, K?
RM: So, yeah, everybody’s like so how come this super aggressive opposition that we saw with these third party candidates, how come they haven’t said anything since this Trump scandal is broken, (screams) I don’t know Jill I can’t pronounce it in Russian.

I bet you 10 TPM memberships that if you look behind the measles outbreak in the Minnesota Somali community, you will find some anti-vaxxer Stein voters.

Really scared of the ramifications of Bernie’s independent run. I believe he is running for president and it’s a huge problem. Bernie does not support ACA, anyone who supports that platform is not going to help save Obamacare. Really scared that we’re already divided on saving ACA. I don’t trust the Senate, either. Look what they did with HER E-MAILS hearing last week. They’ll pass an ACA repeal, then we’re dead.

I’m convinced there will be a Blue Wave in 2018. Let’s drag these nominations out as long possible.

Well, first, I’m assuming that he’ll go through his re election campaign in VT. After that, he isn’t running on the national stage again. He hasn’t gained support since Nov. '16.

Why do you hate democracy?

“I take absolute personal responsibility,” Clinton said of her November defeat. “I was the candidate, I was the person who was on the ballot. I am very aware of the challenges, the problems, the shortfalls that we had.”

To bad some of her supporters like you don’t have the courage to take responsibility like Hillary does.
