He could be pink with green stars as long as he’s competent. Geesh
Day 604: Still no Pivot.
He is SO fucking cray cray!
Whatever you do, Trumpp, don’t worry about whether he’s doing a good job.
The Times paints a picture of a president who is increasingly resentful of Mattis’ apolitical stance and the perception that Mattis is the only adult in the room.
Matt is doesn’t seem to be the problem there. It’s a good thing when your Secretary of Defense acts like an adult.
Trump is worried Mattis is secretly a Democrat an American.
Fixed.
Trump also believes that Kelly is a giant hedgehog.
You’d think he’d have bigger things to worry about.
How is selecting people for their loyalty working out for you, Mr. Trump?
Word on the street is that there was a military coup in the summer of 2017, but somebody was too busy playing golf and whining about his inauguration numbers to notice. Last week’s little note in the Times was a reminder…
Any military/national security type who survived the Helsinki travesty and is still in the administration has lost all credibility. This guy is forever marked.
You’d think but Trump has turned “Democrat” into his boogyman. I think he is actually scared of the Democrats because we aren’t buying his bullshit and he’s convinced we want to impeach him, which is true. hahahahahaha
Secretly a Democrat. JFC. Different era, same paranoia. In the past he’d think Mattis was a secret Papist, or member of the Illuminati. Or a witch! I saw Goody Mattis dancing with seven demons under the full moon at midnight, and now my cow’s gone dry! Let the denunciations begin!
Or a damn Russkie loving Commie
Trump appointed Mattis because he liked Mattis’ nickname -Mad Dog Mattis. He is not living up to the nickname and Trump is now upset because Mattis is a normal patriotic U.S. citizen. His loyalty is to the country not Trump.
I always liked the term pinko.
Yeah I never thought about it much before but it is nice. I’m fond of pink anyway.
I like the shift from “flattery” to “loyalty” at the end of the piece, but hasten to point out that not only is flattery not a requirement for loyalty, but true loyalty entails an obligation to be honest about a leader’s faults.
Trump: “What faults?!!”
“obsequious”
