Doesn’t the speaker have control over any type of video or microphones? Can’t Pelosi ban any type of media? Then the only people who would see or hear his speech would be those present. She could also confiscate their phones, so no recording can be done at all. She can go there if she wants to. Later a transcript can be provided to the media.

Haven’t heard from Pelosi yet, but I can’t wait to hear what she has to say in response. I highly doubt she’ll give an inch. And let’s not forget that highly competent former DoJ official Pelosi hires to be the House Attorney. This is exactly the kind of situation for which he was hired.
Also, the Speaker controls the cameras, the lights, etc. So, even if Trump forced himself on the House, there’s no guarantee it’ll be made public.

His contempt for the constitution, and for Congress as a co-equal branch of government, is getting stronger and clearer all the time. The Senate has pretty much surrendered its constitutional role and prerogatives, clearing the path for dictatorship, thanks Mitch. Leaving just the House.

Don’t underestimate Fox News’ capability to goad him into a major showdown on the ground there… If he shuts the government down because Ann Coulter hurt his feelings, then a minor thing like trying to break into the House Chambers would be easy for them to incite.

If he does it, she should just stay home, and every other Democrat should do the same, and let the media do with it what they will. It won’t be anything except as big a turn off as him sitting in that monster truck playing with the beep beep.
Then there’s the question of whether he could even enter the chamber. Have no idea about that and the rules are more tradition than anything else, aren’t they? We’ll see.
But I guess he wasn’t happy she was out in SF protesting with the other women and looking like she was having fun – not affected at all by his ham handed clampdown on the trip to Afghanistan.
