If Trump is unhappy with him, Tillis is obviously doing something right.
Alt-president Trump’s call sounds an awful lot like an attempt at obstruction of justice.
Why does the President insist on waving a huge “I’M GUILTY” banner around 24/7?
You mean in addition to all the other times .
Fuckers must be sweating but too stupid to realize hes doing it
Gee, and we thought Nixon was self-destructive!
Too true! But all he’s doing is making the list of impeachable offenses longer, and perchance, of potential criminal charges as well.
“…a bill Tillis co-sponsored to shield Justice Department special counsels from political influence…”
So a “major legislative victory” might soon land on Trump’s desk after all?
Why does the President insist on waving a huge “I’M GUILTY” banner around 24/7?
Maybe 'cause he is guilty.
As a criminal defense lawyer of 33 years, he has in fact committed one more instance of O of J., if the phone call is true. It is such a massive blunder that makes a chess player wonder, is there a strategy that “If I just commit too many offenses to organize a prosecution against, I’ll go free” ? (I know where it goes).
Maybe his plan is to commit so many crimes that they spend 3 more years investigating them.
Notice how he only calls, speaks with or praises people when it benefits him and his empire. Or when it’s necessary to cover his butt. A call or rally shout out and praise to Heather Heyer’s family and the officers who were killed in the copter not so much.
Well, it seems that that week in August was pretty dicey between the GOP and T-rumpus. This call was from Monday, August 7th.
The big shouting match call between T-boy and McConnell was on Wednesday, August 9th.
I’m kind of curious why these reports happen to be coming out now, two weeks later (8/22 & 8/23). What’s triggering that?
ETA: Does this have anything to do with Bannon being off his leash?
I don’t think Obama obstructed or tried to obstruct justice once in 8 years. President Trump is an inspiration to anyone who tries to obstruct justice.
“We do not comment…” Who’s “we”? I’ll bet Trump will comment in his own inimitable way before too long.
How he’s gotten to 71 with such an irresistible urge to self-destruction is a mystery, isn’t it?
Well, now. He did say up to a dozen sailors dying was “too bad”.
Just curious for the lawyers in our midst, but would a smear campaign against Robert Mueller by Trump be considered an attempt to obstruct justice, and is that why we’re not hearing any more of it?
