No one who enjoys a stellar reputation would have anything to do with this guy. He’s a fool who can’t shut up and never pays a bill in full. Lawyers who enjoy such standing expect to have their advice taken and their bills paid timely and without question. They have waiting lists of people who want their services.

Having been an attorney the last 43 years I can tell you the eight words “the guy won’t pay and he won’t listen,” are the worst you want to hear when talking about taking on a new client.
Obviously they’ve taken a lesson from the bankers who won’t do business with him.

If nothing else, it may also be stupidity on Kasowitz’s part. He’s a NY lawyer who may think this will put him in the spotlight in a good way.
DC lawyers, OTOH, who know politics, law, Rump’s severe narcissism and the lay of the land in DC won’t touch Rump. That in itself is highly indicative of where they think this investigation is headed.
