Discussion: Report: Sutherland Springs Shooting Conspiracy Theorists Arrested At Church

Not gonna lie. I hope the cops roughed them up on the way to jail.

‘Ussery “continually yelled and screamed and hollered and told me he was gonna hang me from a tree, and pee on me while I’m hanging,” Pomery told the paper.’

‘The pastor, whose 14-year-old daughter was killed in the massacre, added, referring to Ussery: “He said, ‘Your daughter never even existed. Show me her birth certificate. Show me anything to say she was here.’”’

You know, it is hard to believe that people this vile actually exist. I’m at a loss for words.

"I think he truly believes his own rhetoric. I can’t explain it.”

I can. It’s called Reich-wing Republicanism.

On Nov. 5 of last year, Devin Patrick Kelley killed himself and 26 people, including an unborn child, after he opened fire inside First Baptist Church.

The most telling (and tragic) thing about this is that this shooting was only 4 months ago. It seems like ages …

Phone and email messages to Side Thorn went unanswered Tuesday.

Maybe that’s because Side Thorn’s only employees were arrested and locked up.

EVERYDAY It should be made LOUD and CLEAR that the NRA and the GOP advocate for these type of people to own guns.

Not as bad as I could imagine.

Lose the palms and it could be a town in Indiana. ( but not my home town )

We’ve been doing something, but putting them in the Presidency, Congress, and state legislatures isn’t working out too well.

Well what can one do about Alex Jones and his ugly followers? They just make themselves into figures of disgust and nobody is going to believe their bullshit.

But in a country with a free press and freedom of expression, what do you do about this?

.
I know what you mean.
I do get the sense that there’s a good sized pool of mentally ill ready to coalesce around something like this. Call it latent or potential insanity that comes forward with just the right jiggle, and forms a movement whose center seems non-random (not as individual or random as we think of mental illness as being).
.
I hope that makes sense.

It will never be a large group of people who are twisted enough to be attracted to this shit.

It’s always a small number of ill or just plain mean, misfits.

“But I think he’s truly demented. I think he truly believes his own rhetoric. I can’t explain it.”

I can:

Lesson ended.

“I just told him there was enough evidence already visible, so if he chooses not to see that, how would I know he would believe anything else?” Pomery told the Express-News.

Pomery really walks his talk as a Christian and we’re all better for it. I was thinking he could have justifiably grabbed a blunt instrument and buried it in this piece of shit’s head over and over, but that’s just me.

Can we please stop calling them “Conspiracy Theorists”?! “Theorists” review facts and make logically supported theories based on those facts. Being a bat-shit crazy wingnut without reason, logic or facts that accosts normal people makes you a loony that should be shut up in a dark room for the rest of your life.
